Story so far........

Welcome to Eden Water Soap Company, an award winning independent Soap-making business specialising in artisan botanical soap since 2014.

About me, RoseAnn ...... An eco and health-conscious individual with a passion for nature, health, gardening, cooking and of course soaping! The majority of organic botanicals used in our soaps are grown in our rural cottage garden. Eden Water botanical range is rooted in nature, flawlessly created and individualised with therapeutic grade essential oils, gentle botanicals and natural extracts which lend their own signature, qualities, colour and texture. 

​​Eden Water Soap Company came into existence as a hobby following a fulfilling career within Social Services. (As part of an incredible team in the 80's, when domestic abuse was very much a taboo topic, I participated in setting up a the first Women’s Aid Refuge in the Scottish Borders.  A long, rewarding but often challenging role.  

Over the past 30 years I have also trained in a variety of therapies including reflexology, aromatherapy, massage and reiki.​

My interest in natural skincare began when I became a mother. I became aware of skin irritating synthetic ingredients used in commercial baby skincare products. The skincare products I made for my own family, I now make for my grandchildren.

I developed a love for natural 'old fashioned' soap when I was gifted a soap bar from a natural soapmaker in Findhorn over 40 years ago. Natural soap was difficult find back then, but there were a number of good soapmakers here in Scotland. 

​

 My own soap making journey took years of trial and error, with limited internet information and no soap coaching available I read every book and article I could find on the subject of soap! ​ 

Combining my passion for cooking, crafting and gardening, I began to cook soap, a hobby which rapidly took over our house. When he could tolerate it no longer, my husband built a Soap Studio in our cottage garden and rapidly evicted Eden Water Soap Co from our kitchen!

Our formulations are unique and contain gentle botanical extracts to replenish and nourish.

We handcraft in small batches and incorporate gentle, plant based ingredients that won't compromise or irritate the skin's natural barrier. We don't make soap for any one else and we don't use anyone elses recipies! We do not consider mass produced melt and pour base as handcrafted natural soap.

As an eco conscious individual, our ingredients are of exceptional quality, ethically and sustainable sourced. Our natural ethos and eco-friendly packaging ensures we support a greener future for us all! 

We say no to environmentally sensitive Palm oil, no to skin irritating petrochemicals, sulphates, parabens, synthetic colour and fragrance.
